Learn, Play, Serve...
is the adopted motto of the Youth Group (combined youth from St. John's, Our Saviour's of Black Earth and Vermont Lutheran).
-
To learn more about the Bible and how it applies to our lives today.
-
To play or participate in activities that many youth wouldn't get the chance to do otherwise.
-
To serve our church, communities and world, knowing that one person absolutely can make a difference.
Each month, we meet from 6:30 - 8:30 p.m. on a scheduled Wednesday night, (see Youth Calendar) at Our Saviour's Lutheran Church, 1705 Center Street, Black Earth. We talk about current events, share events in our lives, and discuss how the Bible pertains to our night's topics.
The success of our Youth Group is attributed to the wonderful kids that make up its membership, to the dedication of Brett Stampfli, Youth Director, and to the efforts of many others, including the Men's Ministry, the ladies of the parish, Nate Timm (organizer) and Shiryl Roberts (event/entertainment planner).
The Youth Group accepts all races,
genders, and religions (including no religion).
All youth, grades 6-12 are welcome.
If you have any questions about the Youth Group, contact Brett Stampfli at 767-5251.
